WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an Experience Designer at ARKET, you will articulate customer challenges, recommend appropriate evaluation tools to address them, create designs based on decided solutions, and collaborate with the development team to bring solutions to life.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Understand and Research User Needs: Identify customer pain points through research, surveys, and usability testing to inform user-centered design decisions.
• Ideate, Iterate, and Refine: Explore design solutions, participate in reviews, and incorporate feedback to create seamless and effective user experiences.
• Organize and Lead Workshops: Plan, facilitate, and manage design workshops to align stakeholders, gather insights, and drive creative problem-solving.
• Design Execution & Visual Consistency: Develop high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that are user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with ARKET’s brand and business objectives.
• Work with and Evolve Design Systems: Help maintain and improve the company’s design system and component libraries, ensuring consistency and scalability across all digital products.
• Support and validate the end delivery along with the product team engineers. Follow-up on delivery outcome and initiate further improvements based on learnings and insights.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, engineers, data analysts, and business experts to ensure designs are feasible, technically sound, and meet user needs.
• Ensure Data-Driven Decision-Making & Documentation: Integrate customer insights and analytics throughout the design process while maintaining clear documentation of design decisions, iterations, and best practices.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will collaborate with a dynamic and creative product team, sit tightly with experience design lead and work closely with product manager, data analyst, engineers as well as the UX community cross brand and business experts to ensure cohesive and impactful digital experiences.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with…

• 2-5 years of experience in experience design
• Demonstrated UX/UI design, interaction design, and user research experience.
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, usability, and design systems.
• Ability to approach design with a strategic, user-centered mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong team players with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage relationships with diverse groups.
• Highly motivated problem-solvers and self-starters; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within a fast-paced environment.
• Able to take ownership of design projects and drive creative solutions forward with support when needed.
• Skilled in building relationships and establishing trust within a large organization.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a full-time permanent position, based in our Stockholm Head Office.

In this role you will be able to take advantage of a hybrid working arrangement. You will have the flexibility to work both remotely and, from the office. While remote working is part of our offer, approx. 4 days per week office presence is required to foster strong collaborations and team work.
