Job Description

ARKET is a modern Nordic lifestyle brand under the H&M Group, driven by a mission to inspire more sustainable ways of living through well-made, durable design. As we continue to grow, we're now looking for a Store Portfolio Manager to take the lead in developing and delivering upon our global store expansion strategy with a clear focus on building brand equity, reaching new customers, and enabling long term growth.

What You Will Do:

In this pivotal role, you'll shape the future of ARKET's store portfolio, developing and executing on the brand’s global expansion strategy, supporting local market teams and ensuring our physical spaces reflect and strengthen our brand. You’ll be working closely with our Head of Growth, brand management and internal partners to secure a portfolio that is not only financially strong, but also aligned with ARKET’s unique identity and customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining short- and long-term expansion strategies with omni-channel performance in mind
  • Enable long term strategic growth by ensuring ARKET opens stores in top locations globally that build brand and strengthen financial resilience
  • Evaluating store projects and business cases, setting clear recommendations and financial goals
  • Driving active portfolio management: renegotiations, optimizations and consolidations
  • Supporting and coaching expansion teams in different markets
  • Leading and contributing to cross-functional initiatives to explore new store formats and ways of working
  • Representing ARKET in external partnerships with landlords and industry stakeholders
  • Keeping an eye on the future: staying tuned to retail and fashion trends and shaping how we grow sustainably


Qualifications

You are a strategic thinker and a team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Whether it’s analyzing a new market, leading a cross-functional discussion, or stepping into negotiations, you’re confident, collaborative and always driven by the bigger picture. You bring a balance of commercial sharpness, creative thinking and strong communication skills.

We’re looking for someone with a solid background in retail and/or real estate, where you’ve had the opportunity to work with store expansion, leasing strategies or portfolio management in an international context.

What matters most is that you:

  • Have hands-on experience from roles where commercial thinking, negotiation, and strategic planning are key
  • Are curious about customer behavior and how to create impactful physical touchpoints with our customers globally
  • Feel confident analyzing financials, setting KPIs and building strong business cases
  • Enjoy solving complex challenges together with others
  • Are open to international travel and thrive in a global environment
  • Value inclusion, creativity and continuous learning

Additional Information

This is a parental cover for 7 months, based in our Stockholm Head Office, reporting to the Head of Growth.

In this role you will be able to take advantage of a hybrid working arrangement. You will have the flexibility to work both remotely and, from the office. While remote working is part of our offer, approx. 4 days per week office presence is required to foster strong collaborations and team work.
